Prime Minister Ahern Of Ireland Due In Turkey

ANKARA - Prime Minister Bertie Ahern of Ireland will come to Turkey on July 16 on a working visit as guest of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Releasing a statement, the Prime Ministry Press Center said on Monday that Ahern and Erdogan would hold a joint press conference after presiding meetings between Turkish and Irish delegations.
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer will receive Prime Minister Ahern.
Later, Prime Minister Ahern will meet with Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul.
Besides bilateral relations between Turkey and Ireland, relations between Turkey and the European Union (EU), the Iraq issue and international and regional developments will be taken up during meetings of Prime Minister Ahern with Turkish officials.
Prime Minister Ahern is expected to depart from Turkey on July 17.
