AKSU: ''TERRORIST ORGANIZATION BACKED BY FOREIGN CIRCLES''

ANKARA - ''Terrorist organization (PKK) is backed by foreign circles for years, and this support is still there'' said Turkish Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu. Aksu briefed Turkish MPs on Tuesday about the recent terrorist incidents in Turkey.
''Turkey have signed 100 security and cooperation agreements and/or protocols (to fight against terrorism) with 53 countries,'' added Aksu.
''Some countries supported terrorist organizations for their own sake for years, but now they started to understand that these organizations constitute a threat against them as well. Terrorism, is a global problem and threat'' he noted.
Aksu said, ''high-level talks are underway with Denmark for banning Roj TV (a Kurdish channel). We also launched initiatives in other countries to preclude press organs to make propaganda of terrorist organization.''
