Transportation Minister Yildirim Departs From Trnc

LEFKOSA - Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim departed from Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Sunday.
Yildirim visited Girne and Gemikonagi prior to his departure from TRNC.
Binali Yildirim and TRNC Public Works and Transportation Minister Salih Miroglu decided to modernize the Girne Tourism Port and put into practice shipyard project planned to be made in Gemikogani port.
Transportation Minister Yildirim told reporters that they would rapidly overcome deficiencies in transportation and communication to revive TRNC.
Yildirim said that they paid special interest in Gemikonagi port shipyard project.
Pointing out that the region could have significant potential, Yildirim said that he would exert efforts to record progress in the project overcoming the problems.
Yildirim stated that a team in harmony was formed in Turkish Cypriot Airlines, which was another way of opening TRNC to the world.
Passenger capacity of the company would be increased, Yildirim added.
