Turkish - U.S. Joint Commission Envisaged To Resume Talks On Sunday

ANKARA - Turkish-U.S. Joint Commission formed to inquire detention of Turkish soldiers by U.S. soldiers in Sulaymaniyah, is envisaged to resume talks on Sunday.
Gen. John Silvester, NATO Supreme Allied Deputy Commander, also acting as the leader of U.S. delegation, who went to northern part of Iraq to investigate the incident, is expected to return to Ankara late on Saturday.
Sources said commission is expected to resume studies on Sunday morning.
It is stated that impressions of the U.S. lieutenant general who inquired the incident that occurred in Sulaymaniyah on July 4 will be important for the work of the Commission.
General Staff Operation Chairman Gen. Koksal Karabay chairs the commission meeting in technical level.
