ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke with U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney by phone on Tuesday.
Upon questions regarding his phone conversation on Tuesday evening, Erdogan told reporters that he spoke with Cheney.
Erdogan said, ''our conversation with the United States was related to today's meetings in Turkey, process which was started on Monday and commission meetings. It was a conversation toward continuation of these talks at higher level.''
When asked whether there would be a meeting regarding the issue on Wednesday, Erdogan said, ''at higher level.''
