ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke on the phone with Israeli Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniye on Friday.
Erdogan congratulated Olmert for the results of elections, and Haniye for forming the new government.
Sources said that Olmert, in return, told Erdogan that they will work on a government which will bring a good future for Israel and Palestine. He also said that they would like to cooperate with Turkey while settling peace in the region.
Meanwhile, Palestinian PM Haniye told Erdogan that they will work with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in coordination for the interest of Palestinian people.
