ANKARA - Spain's Catalonia region's Planning and Public Works Minister Felip Puig and accompanying delegation met with Ministry of Public Works and Settlement Acting Undersecretary Sabri Erbakan on Wednesday.
Public Works and Settlement Minister Zeki Ergezen could not attend the meeting due to his health problems.
Speaking at the meeting, Erbakan said, ''I believe that both countries will set up sound economic and commercial cooperation with other. We are ready to expend efforts to this end.''
Referring to Turkey's European Union (EU) membership process, Erbakan asked support of Spain.
Meanwhile, Puig said in his part that they wanted to share their experiences in prefabricated huts and environmental standardization with Turkey.
Puig noted that their visit to Turkey aimed at promoting Barcelona Port of Spain.
