Gul Receives British Ambassador In Ankara Westmacott

ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul received on Wednesday British Ambassador in Ankara Peter Westmacott.
Following the meeting which lasted for about half an hour in the Foreign Ministry, Westmacott told reporters that Gul and he exchanged views on some issues after Gul's visit to London.
Upon a question, Westmacott said that Gul and he also touched on detention of Turkish soldiers in northern Iraq in the meeting.
Sources said that Westmacott wanted to have a meeting with Foreign Minister Gul.
