Attack On Tunceli Governor

TUNCELI - Following the armed attack on the car carrying Tunceli Governor Ali Cafer Akyuz on Tunceli-Pulumur highway, Governor Akyuz was taken to Sehit Mehmet police station.
An attack was launched on the car of Akyuz who was returning from an opening ceremony in Pulumur town on the 30th kilometer of the highway.
Governor Akyuz was immediately taken to the police station which was 10 kilometers away from the scene.
A broad-scale operation started in the region.
Akyuz was not injured in the attack and he is in good condition.
