ANKARA - A technical delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will arrive in Ankara on Friday, March 31st, 2006, said sources today.
The IMF delegation will discuss budget expenditures and the latest economic developments in Turkey.
IMF reacted strongly to the Turkish government's decisions to cut rate of value added tax on textile goods from 18 to 8 percent and to increase the salaries of civil servants.
