ANKARA - Ankara First Basic Commercial Court put on Monday precautionary measure on assets of 11 former administrators of Turkiye Imar Bankasi transferred to Savings Deposits Insurance Fund (SDIF) and 57 companies which had shares in the bank.
Sources said that SDIF and Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) demanded Ankara First Basic Commercial Court to put two separate precautionary measures on Friday.
SDIF demanded the court to put precautionary measure on properties of former executive board members of the bank namely Kemal Uzan, Yavuz Uzan, Erol Hurbas, Birol Cilingir, Yasar Avni Gural, Gurol Demirkan, and former general director Hilmi Basaran, deputy general directors Sadik Karagur, Tacettin Pak, Mustafa Say and Koray Ozkaya.
BRSA applied to the court demanding precautionary measure on 57 companies belonging to Kemal Uzan, Cem Uzan, Hakan Uzan, Yavuz Uzan and Uzan Group who had shares in Imar Bank.
The court decided to put precautionary measure in line with the two applications.
People and companies on whom precautionary measure has been put have the right to object to the decision within ten days.
If BRSA do not collect receivables within six months, the precautionary measure will be abolished automatically in the end of this period.
