Exports Of Textiles And Ready-made Clothing From Denizli Increase By 22.9 Percent

DENIZLI - Exports of textiles and ready-made clothing from western province of Denizli increased 22.93 percent to 363 million 902 thousand U.S. dollars in the January-June period of 2003.
Denizli Textile and Ready-Made Clothing Exporters' Association told the A.A correspondent on Sunday that their exports climbed 4.12 percent to 58 million 35 thousand U.S. dollars in June.
Exports of bathrobe rose by 8.90 percent while exports of towel climbed by 33.89 percent.
Exports from Denizli to Germany increased 40.11 percent to 90 million 82 thousand U.S. dollars while exports to Britain rose 22.46 percent to 61 million 121 thousand U.S. dollars.
Meanwhile, exports to the United States decreased 10.44 percent to 75 million 748 thousand U.S. dollars.
