ISTANBUL - International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation will visit Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) on July 8 under its Turkey program.
Releasing a statement, MUSIAD said on Sunday that the delegation headed by IMF Turkey Desk new Chief Reza Moghadam would visit MUSIAD Headquarters on Tuesday to exchange views on recent developments in Turkish economy.
MUSIAD Chairman Ali Bayramoglu said, ''Moghadam is known as an expert in inflation, disinflation and banking sector. He was serving as advisor to IMF First Deputy Managing Director Anne Krueger before he has appointed as new chief of IMF Turkey Desk. I believe that Moghadam will be more beneficial to Turkey than Juha Kahkonen because of his experience in Asia crisis in 1997.''
