Kayseri Sugar Factory Modernizes Sugar Factories In Syria

KAYSERI - Kayseri Sugar Factory has been modernizing sugar factories in Syria.
Kayseri Sugar Factory Executive Board Chairman Vedat Ali Ozisik said on Sunday, ''annual sugar requirement of Syria is about 500 thousand tones. However, five sugar factories in Syria produces 100 thousand tones of sugar annually. Syria imports the remaining 400 thousand tones from the other countries.''
''We have been holding contacts with Syrian officials since last year about modernization and capacity increase of sugar factories. Now, our efforts have come to a conclusion. We will sign contracts with Syrian sugar factories,'' he added.
