DIYARBAKIR - 32 people, including 8 security officials, have been wounded in illegal demonstrations that took place in south-eastern city of Diyarbakir today, said sources.
The illegal demonstrations began after the funeral ceremony of four PKK terrorists who were killed in a clash with Turkish security forces around Bingol-Mus boundary.
One of the wounded security officials is a gendarmery soldier and the other 7 are police officers.
Two ambulances of Diyarbakir State Hospital which rushed to the scene of illegal demonstrations to take the wounded to hospital were stoned by demonstrators. A doctor and nurse have been wounded.
The demonstrators broke windows of banks, houses and parked automobiles.
Meanwhile, Mardin Police have sent dozens of police officers to Diyarbakir.
Meanwhile, sources told the A.A that a PKK terrorist has been arrested in south-eastern city of Sirnak's Silopi town today.
