ONE OF INJURED POLICEMEN IN CRITICAL CONDITION

DIYARBAKIR - Five policemen, three journalists and some protestors were wounded during an illegal demonstration in the southeastern city of Diyarbakir on Tuesday.
Sources told the A.A that one of the injured policemen was in critical condition.
Clash erupted between security forces and protestors during the funeral of four terrorists who were killed in a military operation in the neighboring city of Mus and brought to Diyarbakir for burial.
Protestors chanted slogans supporting the terrorist organization PKK, and smashed windows of stores, banks and a health center with stones and clubs. They also damaged police vehicles.
According to preliminary reports, five policemen, three journalists and some protestors were wounded. One of the injured policemen was in critical condition.
