Gendarmerie Officers Impound 12 Kg Morphine In Van

Sources said on Friday that acting of a tip-off, Gendarmerie teams had warned two people to 'stop' who were walking in the rural are near Kurubas village in Van.
One of them surrendered to Gendarmerie officials while his friend fled away, sources said.
In the search, Gendarme officials found twelve kilograms and ninety grams of base morphine in a bag that the person was carrying.
Officials said the person was detained, and investigation was under way.
