ANKARA - State Minister Ali Babacan said on Friday that economic program continued without any deviation.
Babacan addressed ''Second Foreign Capital Arena'' held by Strategical Technical Economic Researches Center, and answered criticisms about International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the 5th Review.
Babacan said he covered with amazement the criticisms and interpretations regarded with the 5th Review carried out with the IMF.
Babacan confirmed that there was a deviation in the timetable of the 5th Review, yet stressed that showing this as if there was a problem with the IMF, trying to influence the markets, and overshadowing positive developments in economy was not logical.
Babacan said this delay, which stemmed from busy agenda of the Parliament indicated a healthy democratic functioning. He said, ''economic program continue despite some trivial deviations.''
