ANKARA - Turkish President`s Office vetoed the decree on appointment of Central Bank governor, Prime Ministry Press Center said on Saturday.
Releasing a statement, the press center said that the decree of Council of Ministers was not approved by the President`s Office.
It added that the decree on appointments of Adnan Buyukdeniz as the governor of Central Bank, and Mehmet Simsek and Birol Aydemir as deputy governors was rejected by the President`s Office on March 23rd, 2006.
