MOSCOW - Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Atilla Koc has announced that Turkish Stand of 920 square-meter won the best stand honors in the International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT 2006) in Moscow, Russia.
Koc visited MITT 2006, the fourth-largest exhibition worldwide, and held a press conference today.
''Turkey aims to host 2.5 million Russian tourists in 2006,'' Koc noted.
Stating that ''Russian Days'' would be held in Turkey next year, Koc indicated that the event would be held in Istanbul, Antalya (southern city), and some other cities.
