He dismissed reports suggesting Washington was seeking access to Turkish military bases for any potential strike against neighboring Iran.
During his Ankara visit, Pace also spoke at a conference on global terrorism and held separate meetings with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Chief of General Staff Gen. Hilmi Ozkok.
