Central Bank Holds Auction To Buy U.S. Dollar

ANKARA - The Central Bank conducted an auction on Wednesday to buy foreign currency.
The average bidding price became 1 million 404 thousand 7 Turkish liras (TL).
The total bid had been 171 million U.S. dollars while maximum price was 1 million 405 thousand TL, and minimum price was 1 million 402.8 thousand TL.
The bank earlier announced that it would hold forex buying auctions on each working-day, and the maximum amount at each auction would be limited to 40 trillion TL.
