Gul: The Government Intends To Submit The Sixth E.U. Adjustment Package Without Any Changes

ANKARA - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Tuesday, ''the government intends to submit the sixth European Union (EU) adjustment package again without making any changes.''
Gul received members of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Association of Relatives of Martyrs and Disabled Veterans.
Responding a question about President Ahmet Necdet Sezer's decision to return partially the sixth EU adjustment package to the parliament, Gul said, ''there can be different views and it is natural for democracies. The parliament will take the final decision, and everyone will respect it.''
He added that the government intended to submit the sixth adjustment package without making any changes.
SEZER SAYS HE SENT SIXTH ADJUSTMENT PACKAGE BACK TO PARLIAMENT FOR RECONSIDERATION
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer said on Tuesday that he sent the Sixth Adjustment Package back to the parliament for reconsideration.
Replying to questions prior to his departure for Macedonia, Sezer told reporters that he had expressed his objections to amendment to Article 8 of the Anti-Terrorism Law made within the scope of the Sixth Adjustment Package in the last National Security Council (NSC) meeting.
Sezer said that he sent back the package to parliament yesterday.
