MUNICH - Leader of the world helicopter market 'Eurocopter' firm claims to be assertive in Turkish market with its new generation helicopters.
The company that choose Germany as base for the manufacture of its commercial helicopters, is highly interested in Turkey for the sale of military and commercial helicopters.
In the meantime, a Turkish company, namely 'Yakamoz Air' purchased Eurocopter's first civilian EC 135 helicopter on Tuesday for 4.2 million Euro, sources indicated.
In a ceremony at company's facilities in Donawort, Deputy Chairman Markus Steinke told reporters that the company's market share is 52 percent.
-CONFIGURATION ACCORDING TO DEMAND-
Steinke also emphasized Eurocopter's bid to make investments in Turkey through partnership. ''We particularly focus on ambulance helicopters,'' he indicated.
Steinke added that Eurocopter's helicopters were configured according to the demand of the customer.
