Speaking at the meeting, Pearson said that relations between Izmir and the United States were very important.
Noting that they met with Governor Goksu on opportunities of investment in Izmir and Aegean region by U.S. investors, Pearson said they had a very positive point of view about Izmir.
Stressing that he was visiting Izmir for the last time as the U.S. Ambassador, Pearson said that they should cooperate to develop bilateral relations.
