MUNICH - Eurocopter, one of the leading helicopter manufacturers of the world, sold its first civilian helicopter to Turkey, sources said on Tuesday.
The company`s new generation ``EC 135`` type helicopter was delivered to Yakamoz Air at its manufacturing facilities in Munich, Germany.
A ceremony was held for the delivery of the EC 135 type helicopter which started to be produced in 1995. Eurocopter Deputy Chairman Marcus Steinke and other company executives gave information about the targets of the company and about the helicopter.
The executives said Eurocopter attached importance to Turkish market, stating that the first civilian helicopter was sold within this framework.
