ISTANBUL - Turkish State Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin and Malaysian Minister of International Trade & Industry Rafidah Aziz signed in Istanbul on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to improve trade between the two countries.
Delivering a speech at signing ceremony, Sahin underlined, ``it is the second MoU that has been signed between Turkey and Malaysia. The two countries should work hard to enhance economic and commercial relations.``
Recalling that the second meeting of Turkish-Malaysian Joint Economic Commission was held in Istanbul today, Sahin noted that Turkish delegation would visit Malaysia next year for the third meeting.
On the other hand, Aziz stressed that the commission contributed to improve relations between businessmen of the two countries.
Aziz added that Turkish and Malaysian governments should work to ease trade procedures that private sectors faced.
