ANKARA - Banks' credit volume increased 383.4 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 45 quadrillion 195.9 trillion TL between June 6 and 13, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 44 quadrillion 812.5 trillion TL on June 6.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 814 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 525 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 192.7 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 38 quadrillion 304.6 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 359.6 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
