ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by 600 million U.S. dollars between June 13 and 20, 2003.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 27 billion 532 million U.S. dollars on June 13, increased to 28 billion 132 million U.S. dollars on June 20.
Meanwhile, total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased 476 million U.S. dollars from 8 billion 995 million U.S. dollars to 9 billion 471 million U.S. dollars between May 30 and June 6.
Meanwhile, the international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations decreased 426 million U.S. dollars from 38 billion 815 million U.S. dollars to 38 billion 389 million U.S. dollars between May 30 and June 6.
