Canakci Due To Philippines

ANKARA - Treasury Undersecretary Ibrahim Canakci will leave for the Philippines to attend the 36th Annual Governor's Board Meeting.
Canakci will preside a session during the meeting as Turkey Governor of the Asian Development Bank.
Activities of the Asian Development Bank in 2002, the budget for the year 2003, approval of Korea's hosting annual meetings in 2004 and approval of Turkey's hosting annual meetings in 2005 are among the issue to be taken up.
Treasury Undersecretariat Foreign Economic Relations Deputy Director General Melih Nemli will accompany Canakci.
Canakci is expected to return to Turkey on July 1.
