UNAKITAN: ''THERE IS IMPORTANT POTENTIAL TO IMPROVE BILATERAL TRADE VOLUME''

BUCHAREST - Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan said on Tuesday that there was an important potential to improve bilateral trade volume between Turkey and Romania.
Unakitan, currently officially in Romania, stated that Turkey supported Romania's NATO membership, stating that they believed that Romania would be accepted as full member of the European Union (EU).
Unakitan stressed that there was an important potential to further improve current 1.2 billion U.S. dollars trade volume between Turkey and Romania.
Finance Minister pointed out that Turkish private sector particularly wanted to invest in energy, tourism and transportation sector.
