Annual Executive Board Meeting Of European Basketball League Held

ISTANBUL - The Annual Executive Board meeting of the European Basketball League was hosted by Efes Pilsen in Istanbul on Monday.
Representatives of clubs to compete in the European League in this season attended the meeting. They exchanged views prior to beginning of the new season.
Representatives of Efes Pilsen and Ulkerspor of Turkey; Olimpija Ljubljana of Slovenia; Benetton Treviso, Rome, Virtus Bologna and Fortitudo Bologna of Italy; Barcelona, Unicaja Malaga, Tau and Pamesa Valencia of Spain; Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel; Cibona Zagreb of Croatia; Zalgiris Kaunas of Lithuania; ALBA Berlin of Germany; AEK and Olympiakos of Greece; CSKA Moscow of Russia; Pau Orthez and Asvel of France; and Slask of Poland were in attendance at the meeting.
Meanwhile, the draw for the season of 2003-2004 will be made in Tel Aviv, Israel, on July 7, 2003.
Group matches in the European League will start on November 5, 2003.
