Gul's Meeting With U.S. Secretary Of State Powell

POWELL TELLS GUL THAT ALL ISSUES AGREED IN APRIL FULFILLED

AMMAN - U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell told Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said all the issues which had been agreed in April were fulfilled.
Gul, who was in Jordan's capital Amman to participate in World Economic Forum meetings, met with Powell for 20 minutes.
Officials said Powell told Gul said all the issues in Iraq like water, kitchen fuel, humanitarian aid from border were fulfilled, and that this would continue.
Gul in his part stated that they reviewed issues of security in Iraq and meeting of fundamental needs. Gul also said Turkey could also provide clean water by purifying water system, and adjust infrastructure needs like electricity and natural gas.
During the bilateral meeting, Gul stated that closed regimes could not continue in Iraq from now on, and that there should be a way of administration that would represent everybody.
It was also reported that U.S. officials did not want to stay more in Iraq, and that Powell stated that they would leave when the new administration is founded.
