T.R.T. Presented With International Grand Prix Award

IZMIR - Ismail Ragip Gecmen, one of producers at Provincial Directorate of Turkish Radio and Television Corp. (TRT) in western province of Izmir, was presented with Grand Prix Award at the 4th International ECO 2003 Environment Films Festival in Macedonia.
Gecmen joined the festival with its film entitled ''Before It Is Too Late (Gec Olmadan)'' about ecological life in the Salt Lake in Central Anatolia.
He was presented with the Grand Prix Award.
BBC of Britain, TV5 of France, ZDF of Germany, RAI of Italy and ERT of Greece also participated in the festival.
Meanwhile, ERT of Greece was presented with Best Screenplay Award, Czech State TV was presented with the Best Camera Award and Romanian State TV was presented with the Best Fiction Award in the festival.
