Exports Of Fresh Fruits And Vegetables From Bursa Rise By 12.6 Percent

BURSA - Exports of fresh fruits and vegetables rose 12.6 percent to 8.9 million U.S. dollars in the January-May period of 2003.
Uludag Exporters' Associations told the A.A on Saturday that exports of fresh fruits and vegetables decreased 46.2 percent to 1 million 638 thousand U.S. dollars in May of 2003.
In the same period last year, Bursa exported fresh fruits and vegetables of 3 million 46 thousand U.S. dollars.
In the first five months of the year, exports of fresh fruits and vegetables rose 12.6 percent from 7 million 981 thousand U.S. dollars to 8 million 987 thousand U.S. dollars.
Bursa exported fresh fruits and vegetables to 27 countries and autonomous regions and one free zone.
