ISTANBUL - The Annual Executive Board meeting of the European Basketball League will be hosted by Efes Pilsen in Istanbul on Monday.
Efes Pilsen Manager Engin Ozerhun said on Saturday that clubs to compete in the European League in this season would attend the meeting.
''Relations between the Union of European Basketball Leagues (ULEB) and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), European League rules and changes and schedule proposals for the season are among the issues to be taken up at the meeting,'' he said.
Ozerhun added, ''representatives of Spanish and German leagues, ULEB Chairman Eduardo Portela and Euroleague Chairman Jordi Bertomeu will be in attendance at the meeting.''
The clubs, which will attend the meeting are as follows: Efes Pilsen and Ulkerspor of Turkey; Olimpija Ljubljana of Slovenia; Benetton Treviso, Rome, Virtus Bologna and Fortitudo Bologna of Italy; Barcelona, Unicaja Malaga, Tau and Pamesa Valencia of Spain; Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel; Cibona Zagreb of Croatia; Zalgiris Kaunas of Lithuania; ALBA Berlin of Germany; AEK and Olympiakos of Greece; CSKA Moscow of Russia; Pau Orthez and Asvel of France; and Slask of Poland.
