Agriculture And Rural Affairs Minister Guclu Leaves For United States

ISTANBUL - Agriculture and Rural Affairs Minister Sami Guclu left on Thursday for the United States as the official guest of U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Ann Veneman.
Guclu will attend Ministerial Conference and Expo on Agricultural Science and Technology organized by U.S. Department of Agriculture in Sacramento between June 23 and 25.
After the conference which will be attended by 220 ministers from several countries, Guclu will hold bilateral meetings with Veneman, his other counterparts about further improvement of agricultural cooperation.
Guclu will also attend a working meal hosted by Turkish-U.S. Business Council.
Agriculture and Rural Affairs Minister Guclu will return to Turkey on June 29.
