Ziyal Meets U.S. Congress Members

WASHINGTON - Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal met on Wednesday with some members of the U.S. Congress.
Ziyal held a meeting with U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman and Republicans Indiana Senator Richard Lugar.
Undersecretary Ziyal later met with the members of the ''Turkish friendship group'' in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ziyal also held a meeting with Democrats Maryland Senator Paul Sarbanes, who is an effective personality in Greek Cypriot-Greek lobby in the United States.
After wrapping up contacts in Washington, Ziyal is expected to return to Turkey on Thursday.
