ISTANBUL - Prince Tomohito Mikasa of Japan came to Istanbul late on Wednesday.
Prince Mikasa and his daughter Akito Mikasa were welcomed at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport by Japanese Consul General in Istanbul Akio Wada and other officials.
Prince Mikasa who will proceed to Ankara the same day will later go to Capadoccia to visit an archaeological excavation site near Bogazkoy, sources said.
Meanwhile, a delegation of nearly sixty people who support archaeological excavations in Turkey came to Istanbul together with Prince Mikasa.
