ANKARA - The Treasury Undersecretariat conducted two auctions on Tuesday.
In the first auction, the Treasury Undersecretariat sold 298.3 trillion Turkish liras (TL) of nominal-valued state notes with floating interest payment once in every three months.
In this auction, the period interest rate became 11.45 percent while the net sale was 306 trillion TL although the total bid had been 396.8 trillion TL.
Meanwhile, 372.3 trillion TL of net sale was made to public organizations.
The value date of these state notes is June 18, 2003 and maturity is May 11, 2005 while the first coupon payment will be made on August 13, 2003.
In the second auction, the Treasury Undersecretariat sold 1 quadrillion 161.3 trillion TL of nominal-valued 140-day bonds.
The net sale was 1 quadrillion 8 trillion TL although the total bid had been 1 quadrillion 426.9 trillion TL.
The composite interest rate of these bonds became 44.5 percent and simple interest rate became 39.54 percent.
Meanwhile, net 30 trillion TL of bonds were bold to public.
The value date of these bonds is June 18, 2003 and settlement is November 5, 2003.
Meanwhile, Treasury will repay 6 quadrillion 477 trillion TL in domestic debt on Wednesday.
The total domestic debt service by the Treasury in June will reach 10 quadrillion 973 trillion TL.
