KIRKUK - The Kirkuk-Yumurtalik oil pipeline which suffered damage would start to be repaired within a week.
An official who declined to be identified said on Tuesday that efforts to cool the pipes since the fire were under way.
They were continuing to assess the damage, the official said and added that the parts of the pipeline which suffered damage would be replaced and repaired within a week.
