BAKU - Azerbaijani Health Minister Ali Insanov received on Tuesday the Turkish health team which completed its general medical control in Agcabedi and Berde refugee camps.
Insanov said during the meeting that the team which was composed of ten-persons from the Health Ministry, examined 12,000 persons to see if they suffered from tuberculosis, they provided necessary medicine and treatment thanking the team. He said that they were very pleased with the studies of the Turkish health team.
Suat Akgun, the counselor of Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan said that the relations between the two countries developed every day in all fields including the medical field.
Faik Topcu, the head of the Turkish team said that they didn't diagnose tuberculosis among new persons in the refugee camps, adding there were patients in the camp who were earlier diagnosed.
