Security Forces Confiscate 47 Kalashnikov Rifles And 1 Bixi Rifle

BURSA - Gendarmerie teams confiscated forty-seven Kalashnikov rifles, one Bixi rifle and three artifacts and detained five people in an operation in Bursa province in Marmara region.
Releasing a statement on Monday, the Gendarmerie Provincial Command in Bursa said that undercover Gendarme officers caught in action five people who were trying to sell those rifles and artifacts to them.
Officials said those rifles had been smuggled into Turkey from Iraq via southeastern province of Hakkari.
They said those people would appear at court on Tuesday.
