Gul: Turkey Passed Through Difficult Period, But We Will Have Brighter Days

ISTANBUL - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said on Sunday that Turkey passed through a difficult period, adding that the country would have brighter days.
Gul who attended the meeting of Kayseri Provincial Solidarity Association's Istanbul branch said, ''we passed through a difficult period. I would like to say that we will have brighter days in the following period. Turkish businessmen will be witnesses of it. Businessmen and everybody started to get signals in this regard. The government is working night and day to fulfil its duties in the best way. We will show everybody that Turkey is a legal state, social state and constitutional country.''
Noting that there were still big problems in distribution of income, Gul said that private sector had responsibilities to solve these problems.
Gul said that the government had duty to pave the way for private sector and stated that new investments would solve unemployment in Turkey.
Stating that new investments would take place with support of private sector, he said that everybody had responsibilities in this regard.
