Gunay: There Was No Intervention In Decision Taken About Cukurova And Kepez Companies

ANKARA - Yusuf Gunay, the Chairman of Energy Market Regulatory Board (EPDK) said on Sunday regarding the decision to seize production, transmission, distribution and commercial facilities of Cukurova and Kepez Electricity Companies that ''there was no intervention of anybody or any organ in the decision taken by our Board.''
Speaking in a news conference, Gunay said that the only thing the Board did was to implement the Electricity Market Law, adding the Board asked representatives of the two companies to meet for many times in order to discuss certain issues, but the two companies' representatives didn't ever come to those meetings.
