Unicef Executive Director Bellamy Arrives In Turkey

ISTANBUL - UNICEF Executive Director Carol Bellamy arrived in Istanbul on Sunday to attend the camping namely ''All Children Have Equal Rights.''
Speaking to reporters at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, Bellamy said that a campaign about ''all girls' going to school in Turkey'' would be launched.
Bellamy stressed that all girls should go to school and stated that one of eight girls in Turkey did not go to school, which was very sad.
Stating that if girls had education, they would grow up as healthy individuals, Bellamy added that this was a factor which decreased death of babies and infants.
