KAYSERI - Afghan Ambassador in Ankara Abdul Ghafoor Poya Faryabi said on Friday that Turkey gave support to Afghanistan more than other countries.
Faryabi visited Afghan students who were studying Turkish language in TOMER Kayseri branch of Ankara University. He said that there were a strong brotherhood tie depending on history between two countries and added that Turkey supported Afghanistan in its most difficult days.
Faryabi said, ''Turkey is supporting Afghanistan more than other countries do as it was in the past. You are training our students very well. This shows how strong ties between Turkey and Afghanistan is.''
TOMER branch director Oktay Durukan said that they believed that the students would build friendship bridge between the two countries and added, ''students come to Turkey from Afghanistan after eight years and these students are educated in our branch. We are in conscious of this responsibility. We are trying to give every kind of support to our students.''
Faryabi thanked Oktay for his interest to Afghan students.
Noting that the tie which was established in education field would continue, Faryabi said, ''as you know, Afghanistan was destroyed due to war lasting 25 years. We need you. I want you to share what you have learned here with your people. Do not spend your time. I believe that Afghanistan will be recovered by the help of youth who take education like you.''
