North Korean Ship Which Runs Aground In Canakkale Strait Requests Help

CANAKKALE - North Korean-flagged cargo ship ''Lila-S'' which ran aground in Cankaya region in Gelibolu town of western province of Canakkale last week-end, requested help on Friday.
Sources said that 2,288 gross ton Lila-S which was carrying wheat from Giresun port in Black Sea to Egypt adrift while entering Canakkale Strait after passing the Istanbul Strait.
Officials said that two tug boats were sent to area to rescue the ship.
