WASHINGTON D.C. - Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal will come to Washington D.C. on June 16 to assess recent developments in relations between Turkey and the United States.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Friday that Ziyal would meet with U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Marc Grossman and U.S. Under Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs Alan Larson.
Ziyal is expected to meet with U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz and U.S. President George W. Bush's Deputy Advisor for National Security Stephen Hadley.
He will respond questions of journalists at the National Press Club and deliver a speech at the American Enterprise Institute.
Ziyal is scheduled to meet with representatives of American-Turkish Council, some members of the U.S. Congress and representatives of Jewish lobby.
