ANKARA - Council of Europe (COE) Commissioner Alvaro Gil-Robles for Human Rights said on Thursday that there was important progress in Turkey in human rights, however, public officials should change their way of thinking.
Gil-Robles and the accompanying delegation visited Constitutional Court Chief Judge Mustafa Bumin.
Responding questions of journalists following the meeting, Gil-Robles said there was important progress in Turkey in human rights.
Noting that Turkey had some problems in putting into practice laws, Gil-Robles said that Turkey should maintain its reform process in regard to reaching standards of Europe.
